Want to get away from the Jones? Stray a little from the beaten path? Be a part of a small, international community? Get closer to nature and play a role in protecting some of the world's last virgin rainforest?

Well, you can do all that here, at Cocoa Hill, at Playa Cocles, a small Caribbean villiage on the coast just south of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. We are building a small community of 6 homes and one of them is going to be mine, so I'm looking for a few good neighbors.

Homes at Cocoa Hill Our homes are located 300 yds from the main Puerto Viejo -Manzanillo Rd up a gently sloping hill that was once part of an old Cacao Plantation. Most of the small cacao trees have been cut to build the homes, but we have carefully preserved all of the larger "grandfather" trees. Happy Hummingbird House     The Little Pineapple House The 7 individual lots average about ¼ acre and all are fully titled, so financing and title insurance are available through Stewart Title Co. and local banks. The property is fenced and entered through a handsome Kasha gate adjacent to the gatekeeper's cottage. Leo, our gatekeeper, speaks English and also has cell phone. We are a short walk to the Pirripli Supermarket which has a wide array of domestic and gourmet goods. A few steps beyond is "La Terrazza" an Argentinian restaurant with a stunning outdoor fireplace where delicious Parilla (wood grilled meats and fish) are prepared nightly.
